A 10 minute cab ride from our house will bring you to Martyr's Mountain (or as some misspelled signs around the city call it, Marty's Mountain). The hike to the top is about an hour or two depending on what you stop and look at along the way. The name Martyr's Mountain comes from the fact that some of the first practicing Christians in Korea (an their families) were buried here after they were killed for their beliefs.
