Categories: [18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5G]  [Korea]  [Summer]  Changdeokgung Injeongjeon Hall - 2007-10-07

This building was located in a park that was a 5 minute walk from our Hotel in Seoul. It was a very large park that had the palace of Changdeokgung (창덕궁) inside of it. The building is called the Injeongjeon Hall and the small rock tablets in front of it say the name and rank (in Chinese) of those close to the King within the palace. It was originally built in 1405, then destroyed in the Imjin Wars (1592-98), then restored in 1609, and then destroyed by fire in 1803, so the building you see is from 1804.
